DOB: September 25
Current Residence: Australia
Cycling Disciplines: Road
Best Moment in Your Cycling Career: I have a few but probably being the Australian Under-23 Criterium and USA Under-25 Champ in 2016
Race Day Habits: Doing the old double check of the bike bag before you leave the accommodation, can’t forget anything now!
Favorite Race: Tour Down Under
Goals for 2020: Have an awesome time riding bikes with the Wolfpack crew
Favorite Non-Cycling Activity: Anything outdoors or crafty and hanging out with the people I love most
Biggest Fear: Getting left with the black jellybeans in the packet (not a fan of the licorice flavor or aniseed) or running out of M&Ms in trail mix (they're the best part on a road trip)
Must-Haves for Traveling: Passport can’t forget that bad boy
Hi my name is Jessica! I am twenty-five years of age and started competitive cycling at the age of eleven on both the track and road. I was introduced to the sport of cycling through my primary school at a come and try session on the track. I now assist coach one of the programs that I was first introduced to as a child. What I enjoy most about cycling is the people you get to meet, the places you get to travel to, and the feeling of pushing yourself to your limits. I also get a buzz with the sense of team pride if someone has a great race result or a personal best. Over the years, I have been lucky enough to have raced as part of the Australian development team over in Europe in 2013 to 2015. I have been part of our Australian National Road Series and did a stint with Wiggle Honda Pro. Later, I moved my focus to the USA scene in 2016 and have been coming back ever since for Fearless Femme, Colavita-Bianchi Pro, The Meteor//Intelligentsia and now the opportunity to be part of Wolfpack this year. I look forward to continuing the momentum, having fun riding bikes, meeting some new faces as well as seeing some familiar ones, and exploring the countryside on two wheels.
